Fischer & Wieser’s team has returned from the 57th Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C. with some great reports!
The company has taken advantage of this “unique opportunity to tap into the D.C. market that is rapidly becoming a food capital with thousands of restaurants and specialty food stores,” according to the NASFT’s website.
From Jonathan Pehl, Director of Marketing and Branding:
The new booth was very well received – people were excited about the new look and it really showcased the products. Traffic was busy; for being in a new city the attendance was slower than previous years, but the quality of buyers was great. We saw a lot of our old friends and even made some new ones. Out of the six new products I think the Almond & Cherry Jubilee Jam was everyone’s favorite. Pineapple Hatch and the Texas Pit BBQ were very close to the top too. People loved the sweetness of the jam and the spiciness of the other two products.
Curtis LaFaitte, National Account Manager:
First, I would like to say how proud I felt (and still do) to be part of the Fischer & Wieser team and brand. I also loved how everyone worked as a team. Truly professional. I think this is one of the best Fancy Food Shows if not the best, that I have ever been a part of. I am motivated even more, to spread Case and Mark’s Mission! With Honors, Curtis LaFaitte
Mary Llanes Guevara, Director of Sales and Promotions:
I felt our booth was well received. We had many people walking by and admiring. The new products were a big hit. The Texas Pit BBQ sauce was unique and most people loved the smokeyness. The cherry pie filling was also a popular. Those that were new to Mom’s loved the fresh taste and could not believe it came out of jar.
Other members of the sales and customer service team echoed the above reflections.
